Manje Z-SURE is a comprehensive Health and Life Insurance Plan designed to afford Zambians in the diaspora the opportunity to insure themselves or their loved ones back home.

The plan covers inpatient and outpatient services, medication, tests, dental and optical services and aims to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families living in Zambia. We cater for healthcare needs across a number of different income brackets while ensuring the most comprehensive cover.

Z-SURE is underwritten by ZSIC Life Plc, and delivered by hospitals through SMART Zambia, the Electronic Government (e-Gov) Institute, a division in the Office of the President of the Republic of Zambia.

Z-SURE is accepted at over 140 public, private and CHAZ hospitals and pharmacies in all 10 provinces of Zambia. Our wide coverage and service provider network means that no matter where in Zambia your beneficiary might be, they have access to a service provider near them.

1. Medical Cover - inpatient and outpatient services, tests and medication.

2. Life Insurance Cover - in the unfortunate event that the beneficiary passes away, you as the sponsor shall receive a lump sum cash payout as per the benefit allocated in the terms and conditions.

3. Permanent Disability Cover - in the unfortunate event that the beneficiary becomes disabled permanently, you as the sponsor will receive a corresponding lump sum cash payout as per the benefit allocated in the terms and conditions.

• 61 years and above without underlying condition additional 50% on premium.
• 61 years and above with underlying condition additional 100% on premium.
• All beneficiaries with underlying conditions 3-6 months waiting period, depending on medical status.
• Maternity and Antenatal cover not included for beneficiaries that are already pregnant at time of subscription.
• Six (6) months waiting time for permanent disability cover.
• No waiting times for life cover.

When The Beneficiary Needs To Access Care

1. TELEPHONE NUMBER: Once the beneficiary has been added to a Z-Sure plan, the beneficiary SHALL receive an SMS link from ZSIC Life to the insurance mobile app.

2. HOSPITALS: The beneficiary SHALL select any hospital from the list of 140 health service providers across all 10 provinces in Zambia including public, private and CHAZ.

3. ZSIC LIFE: The beneficiary SHALL inform the staff at the hospital that the insurance is under ZSIC Life. Note: Manje Health uses ZSIC Life technology to roll-out Z-SURE in Zambia.

4. BIOMETRICS: At the hospital, the beneficiary SHALL submit biometrics/ fingerprints at the point of care, which the service provider shall use to confirm the cover.

The beneficiary biometrics is the unique identifier. By inputting the biometrics in the system, the hospital can view the account which includes name, telephone number and plan purchased, benefits associated to the plan and usage - this will verify that the person at the hospital, is indeed, the same person registered to the insurance.

To avoid any delays, you as the sponsor, must ensure that the beneficiary is aware of these steps.
