The Good Samaritan in Chad was founded by Father Angelo Gherardi, an Italian Jesuit and promotes quality health care to the populations of the towns and countryside of Chad, especially the poorest. The hospital trains health personnel and develops international cooperation for research. The medical department of CHU BS offers, in addition to specialised care services, other personalised services of centres of excellence accessible to all.
